Advertising trade body appoints Westminster Advisers
Westminster Advisers has won a comprehensive public affairs and communications brief from the Advertising Producers Association (APA), the trade body for production companies, post production and VFX and editing companies making commercials.
The APA’s 175 member companies are entrepreneurial small businesses which punch above their weight, both in the UK and internationally, generating work from overseas and cultivating creative talent in the UK.
Westminster Advisers Managing Director Dominic Church, said: “We are delighted to be supporting the Advertising Producers Association at this challenging time for the creative industries sector. Their member companies provide a great contribution, both to the economy but also in terms of nurturing creative talent and supporting the excellent British film industry. We will be assisting them to put a compelling case to UK policy makers and media, with the aim of achieving a fair market place in which they can continue to thrive and as such maintain the crucial role they play within the wider creative industries sector.”
Stephen Davies, Chief Executive of the APA, commented: “We look forward to working with Westminster Advisers in our quest to achieve a level playing field for our member companies, and the opportunity to compete in a free and open market.”
